Legend tells of a Caped Crusader, Batman, Guardian of Gotham. And of his one true love, Catwoman, Queen of the Criminal Underworld...

Helena Wayne (Lena to her friends and family) is the only child of Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle. Helena only has a few memories of her mother as Selina died when she was only six. She was raised by her father and grew up never knowing what her parents did or who they had once been.

It was not until she was seventeen that she made that discovery. While bumming around Wayne Manor one morning, she noticed Alfred disappearing through a doorway that should not have existed. Waiting until he emerged, she went through the door herself and ended up in the Batcave. Was it possible? Was her father, straight-laced business man Bruce Wayne, Batman? Or more correctly, was he once Batman? No one in Gotham had seen Batman in eleven years.

Even more intriguing was the suit encased next to Batman's. A suit that had once belonged to Catwoman.

The pieces were now falling into place for Helena. Her mother's murder. Batman's disappearance. Could it be?

All the evidence she needed was there. The suits. The computers. The Batmobile. And the stack of newspapers from that night. Catwoman and Batgirl both dead. Batman gone.

Making her way back into the manor proper, Helena wondered whether she should tell her father that she knew his secret. Call him out for abandoning Gotham just when they needed him most. In the end, she decided not to tell him. Obviously that life was behind him now.

Instead she would take up what he had discarded. She would become Huntress, Gotham's last hope.

For the past year, Helena has led this double life. Fighting crime under the mantle of Huntress and working her way towards finding the man she believed killed her mother. So far, no one has discovered her secret. Not her father, not Alfred, and not her enemies.

But how long can that last?

My take on Huntress is a bit AU, combining the original Batman movies (Burton) with the Earth-2 incarnation, the Birds of Prey Television Series, and the new Batman movies (Nolan) and coming out with my own creation.
